How do I print in the library?

Answer

First, you must send the document you wish to print to Papercut. If you are logged in to one of the library's desktop computers, open your document, click the "print" icon, and choose "Papercut" as the printer. If you are using a personal device such as a laptop, go to http://papercut:9163/setup and follow the instructions on the page to add "Papercut" as a printer on your device. Once you have selected "Papercut" as the printer, click the button for "Print". You can send multiple documents to Papercut at one time, but you must "release" each print job on the printer's touchscreen.

Then, approach any of the printers in the library. Printers are located in the main area and the Info Commons on the 2nd floor and the Mural Room and the West Wing Computer Lab on the 1st floor. Tap your Western ID card on the card reader** next to the touchscreen or enter your Western email and password on the touchscreen. On the next screen, select "Print Release" and then select the print jobs you wish to release. Then select the "Print" option. Your document will then print.

**The first time you print with Papercut, the printer will ask you to enter your Western email and password after you tap your card on the card reader. Every time you print after, you will only need to tap your card.
